Inspired by a joyful one-year-old and his love for nature, Jah Jah is a California-based brand that celebrates healthy living through fun, colorful design. I brought this world to life as the lead designer, crafting every detail — from the characters and labels to the packaging and social media — to make the brand feel as bright and full of life as Jah Jah himself.
The Jah Jah logo was inspired by a 3D AI–generated reference of an Afro boy provided by the client, reimagined into a friendly, simplified mascot that feels playful, warm, and family-friendly.
Color Palette
Leaf green, bright orange, yellow, and red, was chosen to reflect the natural juices we make while appealing to both kids and parents. Green represents nature and freshness, while orange, yellow, and red bring energy, warmth, and appetite appeal, creating a joyful, playful world rooted in healthy living.
Time to Glow Campaign
Time to Glow was a cleansing campaign focused on parents — especially moms of Jah Jah consumers. Built around four daily juices, the campaign encouraged healthy habits throughout the day, supporting energy, digestion, skin glow, and gentle cleansing, helping moms reset and feel renewed in time for the holidays.
Design Approach
The campaign blends Jah Jah’s playful, hand-drawn cartoon style with a fresh, modern look. Natural elements like green leaves and earthy tones reinforce the health focus, while the familiar illustration style keeps the visuals fun, approachable, and instantly recognizable as part of the Jah Jah brand.
Character Design
Designed for world-building, Jah Jah’s mascot allows endless poses and product possibilities, making it easy to expand across packaging, merch, and new brand experiences.
World Building
To expand the Jah Jah universe, new characters, objects, and scenes were created to bring the brand’s world to life. This flexible system allows Jah Jah to grow beyond packaging into storytelling spaces like coloring pages, comics, and merchandising, opening the door to endless creative extensions.
Comic Book
A mini Jah Jah comic book combining short stories and interactive activities like word searches and coloring pages. Built around a fun hero theme, it introduces kids to healthy food and vitamins in a playful, engaging way.
